This course is designed to provide information on the differences between SUSE Linux Enterprise Server version 9 and version 10 related especially to the topics covered in the Novell Certified Linux Professional (CLP) curriculum.
This course guides students who have no experience with Linux through the main concepts of open source software and Linux using the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10.
In this class students will learn how to install and configure SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10, and how to manage system initialization and processes. Among the topics covered in this course are Posix ACLs, network configuration, printing, and remote access.
This course gives students a deeper understanding of how SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 works. Students will learn how to make their work and their servers more efficient and productive as well as how to turn Linux into a productive system.
This course covers how to install and configure the services that are important in a typical enterprise network environment. It is therefore an important course to transition your skills from a system administrator to a network administrator.
In this course students will gain hands-on experience on how to administer SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 on a broad range of topics from host security and network security to Novell AppArmor, packet filters, and VPNs.
